At my school there is a student-created magazine called 'Insider'. It's pretty much brand spanking new, having completed its first publication last year and the second issue is out now.
I'm pleased about this for a number of reasons. The first being that I think it's brilliant that a magazine like this is produced for the kids, by the kids. I wish there had been something like that at my school when I was a high school student. It would have been right up my alley.
The second reason I'm pleased, is because they've chosen to feature some of my photographs from a Made With Love Market Bazaar earlier in the year! You can see my photos at the top of each page of the article.

This looks really neat. I hope the kids don't run out of stuff to write about. It can be a problem in small towns; even for proper newspapers.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite cool. At the moment they're only doing one issue per year, so I don't think they're worried about running out of material! :)
