Fast Five With ... Alley from The Vintage Valley

Ally from The Vintage Valley is just about as cute as a button, isn't she? She's got the vintage look down pat and those photos on her blog? Sensational. Ally also likes to share the vintage love (isn't that just the way it should be) with her online shop. Oh my word, there are some goodies over there, indeedy. Do check it out for yourselves.

So not only is Ally gorgeous and nice and all vintagey, she also kindly participated in my Fast Five, allowing us a bitsy little peek into her world...

1) What is your favourite piece of art work currently displayed in your home/studio? As my partner and I have just moved into our first home we are slowly getting pieces of art work we love but at the moment my favourite is a painting by my mother of a sunset over her farm in Quairading, it's beautiful. I also have a few vintage Rolling Stones paper magazines mounted in my studio that I love!

2) Which blog do you NEVER skip reading (no matter how busy, crook, cranky you are)? Like many ladies I adore A Beautiful Mess, I always check it because I know they post every day so I have a whole new source of inspiration whether it be fashion, DIY projects or a bit of visual delight, Elsie and Emma are such talented ladies!

3) Where is your favourite place to get coffee and/or eggs + bacon and/or pancakes? I love The Merchant in Mt Lawley Perth, they are a cute cafe with lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling that make a mean bacon and eggs and the perfect cup of coffee!

4) What is your favourite font? If we are going old school fonts here....hmm...I'd have to admit I'm an Edwardian Script kinda gal, there is something about swirly letters that makes me happy!

5) What is your favourite city to travel to? I have to admit I'm not a well travelled woman, I have been around Australia and love it and have ventured to Bali like every other Western Australian but I am looking forward to going to Europe next year with my partner I've been doing copious amounts of research and I have a feeling I'm in love already!!

I've got a feeling that your feeling that you are already in love with Europe before setting off on your journey is totally going to come true! Thanks so much for participating, Ally! You're a gem! :)
