Oh boy - what a week this has been! His first full week here in our small town. Our first week living together again (but this time as a couple). A crazy week at work for me (leading into yet another crazy week at work).
We have been busy keeping the house in some kind of order and trying to keep each other sane as we adjust to this new living arrangement.
Today we tackled some organisational stuff and made time to relax with coffee. That was nice.
Term One holidays begin after next week and I'm so pleased to get a break, good things are on the horizon I think, good things.
Hope you had an ace weekend and found some time to recharge and unwind.
How is he adjusting to the climate? I remember you saying he was finding Melbourne chilly.
ReplyDeleteIs he a teacher too? I ask because (a) about 80% of my teacher rellies ended up with teachers and (b) I wasn't entirely sure how the holiday statement was meant to be taken.
Hey Alex - he's cold. But it's not really that cold here right now. It can get colder (and it will). No, he's not a teacher as well - but he's still looking for work, so it's likely that when I'm on holidays he'll be free too.
