FAST FIVE WITH ... MICHELLE FROM ROCK MY ROLL

I've known Michelle for ... oh, ages and ages. We met in Year 7 at Wynyard High School back in 1992 and we've been friends ever since.

She also happens to be incredibly inspirational, creative and talented and stuff. She's pretty rad. She's the coolest chick who just happens to be into permaculture (although I think she's ditched this word and I don't blame her), art and craft (she makes awesome dresses and other fantastic things) and she's a helluva woman to kick around our small town with. She's a mum and wife, she manages the Made With Love Market Bazaar and she's also studying to be a teacher. Phew! I don't know how she finds the time!

So it's only natural that I ask her my Fast Five - here's what she said:

1) What is your favourite piece of art work currently displayed in your home/studio?

I am still liking my deer head I made for my New Nanna exhibition - "Oh deer me" - which is amazing because I usually start to detest my own work after a while. I am also loving my little Once upon a time felt dolls hanging out in my Woman Cave.

2) Which blog do you NEVER skip reading (no matter how busy, crook, cranky you are)?

I mostly stalk my friends blogs - I read many blogs but I love seeing what my friends are up to the most. A few of my favorite blogs have turned commercial recently and it has really turned me off reading them - It's so sad.

3) Where is your favourite place to get coffee and/or eggs + bacon and/or pancakes?

Bruce's for sure.... nom nom!!

4) What is your favourite font?

I don't have a favorite. I only have favourites for particular projects. Every project demands a new font to fit its style and the search can sometimes be hard. Especially as I am a tight arse and only like free ones. If I had lots of money I would buy fonts all over the place.

5) What is your favourite city to travel to?

I can only dream about far away cities and travel...sigh...but I am desperate to get back in the caravan and explore all the regional towns and beaches below Sydney. I also love Melbourne for its fashion and food and Hobart for its unique Tasmanian artyness (yes that is a word, cause I said so).

And the funny thing is, that if I asked myself these questions I'd have pretty similar answers! Thanks Michelle for participating - you rock, Mrs! :)

    1. My pleasure Jane! It's hard to stay warm when it's soooo cold, but easier with the laptop and me in front of the heater!! :)
