We've had a bit of a swapsies at our place. I've given up the big old desk I was using before and Shane's now using it for his creative endeavours. We pushed the bed over in the main room and found a table & bookcase at The Importer and voila! I have somewhere nice and bright to work and somewhere to put my books.
I've ordered a replica Thonet chair and I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

The sea dragon is quite awesome - that postcard has been with me for years and years. The blur in some of the photos is a tilt shift which comes with Instagram. There's probably a way to do it in Photoshop but I don't know how.

ReplyDeleteThanks Jodi! I used to grab those postcards from cafes as a uni student because they were free & therefore a good, cheap way of decorating at the time. The room gets a lot of afternoon sun, which is great - the natural light is really nice there.

ReplyDeleteThanks Trishie! I used to drive my parents mad re-arranging furniture around the house when I was growing up - I'm not as bad as I used to be though! I've curbed that behaviour a little bit since then!
