TEENY TINY CUTTLEFISH | BIRTHDAY PRESENT TO MYSELF ARRIVED | WATCHING THE SAILING BOATS | THE SAILING BOATS | WHERE I LIVE

I've been taking the opportunity to enjoy some weekend drives lately. Most often these lead me to the beach. You'll be all too aware of this if you follow me on Instagram (@lookseebynaomifenton). It's my favourite, favourite thing to do at the moment. It's been lovely while we've had some sunny autumn weekends -but I'm also looking forward to some bracing walks in the sand as the season properly sets in.

I treated myself to a birthday present a little while ago and it arrived last week. It's now hanging in my lounge room and I love it. I bought it from these awesome people.

Today, Jenkins and I got to watch some sailing right from our lounge room window. We love our view to bits and pieces, especially when there are interesting things to have a squiz at.

This week is our last week of term and ohmygoodness I'm hanging out for it. It's going to be massive though. There's parent/teacher interviews one day next week (from 1.30pm until 8.00pm - yowza), there's special morning teas with students and staff, there's a Holy Week liturgy with the whole school, an extra-special "Farewell to Summer" fashion parade for the Year 7's, the first part of the Athletics Carnival (which was supposed to happen several times over last week, but it was a washout), there's Good Friday and on Saturday I'm helping photograph a wedding. So, you know, just a little bit to get through before I can really count myself as being on holidays.

What are your plans for this week?

sponsor shout-out | perch and pantry

Image from Perch and Prosper (blog for Perch and Pantry).

I wanted to take this opportunity to give a shout-out to my current sponsor, Perch and Pantry. You so very much need to check out this wonderful online shop, so so so many goodies to covet.

I have some favourites. Of course.

I can see this cushion making a home on my couch very nicely indeed. I love the bohemian feel and the combination of colours is just the best.

Now this is a great idea. Functional and pretty as well. After all, a single lady like myself can only go through so much of that jam to get the jar at the end. Having said that I probably could easily eat my weight in that caramel spread, but the less said about that the better.

And this throw rug is terribly pretty. It also comes in coral pink. I love both so much, I really don't think I could choose if I had to. Don't make me.

A very big indeed heartfelt thank you to Perch and Pantry for sponsoring me this time around!

Would you like to sponsor me as well? Feel free! Click on the 'Sponsor' tab up there and read all about it. Go on! Chop-chop! You know you want to!
